“The cherry hill”
The climate brings ever earlier springs, premature blossoms, and lengthening days: spring arrives, and with it nature awakening (and us with her). The urge to live outdoors after so much time at home—the outside, nature, beauty. This reclaiming of color and light has a special place in the Bicocca district: the Cherry Hill, a twenty-five-meter-high artificial rise made from part of the excavation debris from the demolition of the old Pirelli buildings.
The flowers bloom and tint it pink, while from the top you can glimpse the new skyscrapers rewriting the city’s skyline—unless, of course, you’re absorbed in reading on the grass.
